RUNNER UP_ RAINY COAST | PRONIED´S MODULAR CATALOG SCHOOLS.
METHA + EntreNos Atelier obtained the second place in the International Competition for the new modular catalog schools for Perú, organized by both OEI and Pronied. Our proposal uses materials with low built-in energy, maximizes the footprint of the building, freeing 50% of the land to be used as open, flexible and shared learning spaces, defining an educational landscape for the community and promoting environmental, social and economic sustainability from school.
SEGUNDO PUESTO_ COSTA LLUVIOSA | CATÁLOGOS DE ESCUELAS MODULARES
METHA + EntreNos Atelier obtuvieron el Segundo lugar en el Concurso Internacional de Anteproyectos Arquitectónicos para los nuevos catálogos de Escuelas Modulares: Escuela Perú, organizado conjuntamente por la OEI y Pronied. Nuestro diseño utiliza materiales con baja energía incorporada, maximiza la huella del edificio, liberando el 50% del terreno para ser usado como espacios de aprendizaje abiertos, flexibles y compartidos, definiendo un paisaje educativo para la comunidad y promoviendo la sostenibilidad ambiental, social y económica de la escuela.

Happy Anniversary Lima. (Satellite image c. 1535). A fertile valley irrigated by a canal system composing an environmental infrastructure. From Carabayllo by the North to Chorrillos occupying more than half of the current urban factory (referential) and where the territory was a mixture of rituals, life, and production. 484 years later, it is indispensable that Lima allows the territory to become visible, functioning as the backbone of all public spaces in the city. The territory cities like Lima should be understood as an extensive amalgam of interruptions and continuities resolved on the hybridization of natural and artificial systems. Nature and urbanity can not be alien and distinct elements, they coexist and the landscape stops being an external agent of the urban area to become part of the city: The landscape of the city is the same city.

Felia día Lima. (Lima satelital c. 1535). Un valle fértil irrigado por un sistema de canales componiendo una infraestructura medioambiental. Desde Carabayllo por el Norte hasta Chorrillos ocupando mas de la mitad de la fábrica urbana actual (referencial) y en donde el territorio era una mezcla de rituales, vida y producción. 484 años después, es indispensable que Lima permita que el territorio se haga visible funcionando como la espina dorsal de todos los espacios públicos de la ciudad. Las ciudades territorio como Lima deben ser entendidas como una extensa amalgama de interrupciones y continuidades resuelta sobre la hibridación de sistemas naturales y artificiales. Naturaleza y urbanidad no pueden ser elementos ajenos y distintos, coexisten y el paisaje deja de ser un agente externo del área urbana para pasar a ser parte de la ciudad: El paisaje de la ciudad es la misma ciudad.
